We went to see Wilco this weekend at the St. Augustine Amphitheater.  The show started just as the sun was setting, and the wind was picking up just enough to remind us it wasn’t quite summer yet.   They played a long set that included most of Yankee Hotel Foxtrot, which just happens to be my favorite Wilco album.  The combination of that false transcendent feeling you get while tipsy, Seth’s hand on my knee, the wind blowing softly in my face, and the set list, made me feel as if the band was playing just for me.  In short, it was a great show! But thanks to the amphitheater’s policy of not allowing cameras, all I’ve got to show for it are grainy cell phone photos of Jeff Tweedy in a white cowboy hat.  See?

and this super awesome gem of us in the car on our way to the show.  Happy weekend!
